She Knew

I love getting up an hour earlier than I have to and just spend time with myself 

before the day gets the best of me.  

I make my usual cup of coffee, read my bible, and from there, 

my heart starts feeling a lot of love for this life God has given me.   

This morning, I came across this quote 

and I just wanted to share with all the ladies out there, 

especially those who are feeling shaken and unbalanced, 

frightened and hopeless, 

confused and weakened, 

trapped or lost....

God created us for a reason,

something bigger than we can imagine.  

HE loves us during our high moments, 

as well as during our low moments.  

HE lights up everything in front of us, 

we just need to be able to look in the right direction

in order to take that first step to go beyond what life has to offer. 

Remember, you are worth more than you think, see, or feel. 

HE created us to be the symbol of love, hope, strength, courage, and determination.  

So let's all get up and be renewed, refreshed, and ready....

for the life in front of us 

is just waiting for us to take the lead.  

Choose HAPPY

We can all be that way just because we choose to be. 

When we wake up each morning we can decide to be happy 

no matter what is happening to us or around us. 

It’s our choice and there is so much to be happy about. 

For starters…we woke up. 

Today is a gift and gifts are meant to make you happy!

I was in Barnes & Noble earlier looking through spiritual and motivational books. Suddenly a lady approached me and asked, "Excuse me, what is your religion?' I replied, "My religion is LOVE!" She smiled and didn't say anything. She simply just walked away.

I'm Thankful

I'm Thankful

God of all blessings, source of all life, giver of all grace. I'm thankful for the gift of life, for the breath that sustains life, for the food of this earth that nurtures life, without You, there would be no life.

I'm thankful for the mystery of creation, for the beauty that my eyes can see, for the joy that the my ears may hear, for the unknown that I cannot behold filling the universe with wonder, for the expanse of space that draws me beyond the definitions of myself.

I'm thankful for setting me in communities, for my parents, siblings, and relatives who nurture my becoming, for my children who lighten my moments with delight, for my LOVEY who love me by choice, for my friends and companions at work, for all the men and women of our military forces, for strangers who welcome me into their midst, for people from other lands who help and support world peace, and for all the children of the world who offer us hope for the future.

I'm thankful for this day, for life and one more day to love, for opportunity and one more day to work for peace, equality, and prosperity, for my neighbors and one more person to love and by whom be loved, for your grace and one more experience of your presence, for your promise, to be with me, to be my God, and to give salvation.

For these, and all blessings, I'm Thankful, eternal, loving God,through Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Time flew by.....nevertheless, I'm so glad you are here October!

Mood

For me, one of the most perfect times to read a book is when it's cold and raining outside and there's pretty much no outdoor activity to be done. It kind of sets the mood.

Prayer Request

Soooo saddened by the tragedy in the town/province I grew up in.  Please add to your prayer request.  THANK YOU!

Almighty God, merciful Father, please keep all of my loved ones, neighbors, friends and all who have been afflicted by this calamity from despair and do not let their faith be destroyed by the hopelessness they encounter. Sustain and comfort them. Direct all their efforts to attend the injured, console the bereaved, and protect the helpless. Deliver any who are still in danger and bring hope and healing that they may find relief and restoration. Through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Rain

Healing rain is a real touch from God.

Be Strong

When you have a good heart,

you often help too much,

give too much,

and love too much.

Yet it always seems that 

you're the one

who hurts the most.

The only thing you can really do

is to let the tears flow 

while trying to convince yourself,

beg yourself,

and tell yourself....

"I have to be strong!"

Faith

God hears every unspoken word,

sees every unseen wound,

and mends every unbearable pain.

You just need to have

a little FAITH

Walk Away...

At some point you will realize

that you have done too much for someone,

that the only next possible step to do is to stop.

Leave them alone.

Walk away.

It's not like you're giving up,

and it's not like you shouldn't try.

It's just that you have to draw the line

between determination and desperation.

What is truly yours will eventually be yours,

and what is not, no matter how hard you try,

will never be.
