Dear Lord,

NEW YEAR 2012

The New Year is just like another book. We will open it and its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them as we live the next 365 days in 2012. This book is another opportunity to begin, a fresh start! Aren’t we so lucky? Another year to live! To banish worry, doubt, fear, mistakes, and to love, give, and laugh instead. A chance once more to right some of the wrongs, to let go of pain, and to begin a journey of peace within. This bright NEW YEAR is given to us, a chance to live each day once again in zest. We need to try and grow daily. Let us pray for peace in our world. Let us plant a tree in order to help our planet, and let us sing more joyful songs throughout the year.

PASSION is POWERFUL!

Every person has the potential to be passionate. Everyone loves something. We are shaped and motivated by what we love. It reveals our passion. Find it, learn it, stick to it, and believe in it! It is a choice, not a result. In everything that we do, it is PASSION that persuades us to do the best that we can, straight from our hearts.

DESIRE

The starting point of all accomplishment is DESIRE. Keep this in mind: Feeble desires bring feeble results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. Be passionate about your life. Act from your passions. The more energy you apply to any task, the more you will have to apply to the next task.

If we can't invent, we can at least improve. A "sensational new idea" is sometimes just an old idea with its sleeves rolled up. If you itch for ideas, keep on scratching. Don't be afraid of change. Face it! Constant change is here to stay. Most people become willing to change not because they see the light, but because they feel the heat.

The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn’t matters not a jot. The possibility is always there.
